Interactive Voting System supports a lot of shareholders meetings. The keypads are often equipped with a foil with the corporate identity of the client. Prior to the meeting all keypads are prepared and ready to hand out to each shareholder. Chipcard and keypad together offer each shareholder the opportunity to cast a vote.

IVS is used by a lot of political parties for either big party congresses but also for smaller meetings where exchanging information is the main goal. In these cases voting with keypads is a valuable addition to the meeting. By using keypads you will immediately see the opinion of the group. Furthermore it is very important that the voting is anonymous with this type of meeting to be sure that everybody answers without being influenced by any of the other participants.

IVS can also be used for collective testing where every keypad votes identified. This can be done either by using the RFII keypads combined with a chipcard or by using the Lite keypad without a chipcard. The Lite keypads can vote identified based on the keypad itself. Questions are usually projected on a screen but handing them out on paper is an option too. Each participant can read the questions from the hand-out.

Medical congresses often use interactive voting systems with keypads. Besides testing the knowledge of the participant about a certain subject the keypads are often used for discussions about cases too. An existing case is often used in these situations where the participants are asked to give their opinion about the choices that have to be made, based on the provided information. Using the keypads gives a fast insight in what the majority of the participants would have done.
